Is the introduction of a free-trade zone between the USA and the EU useful?

The Transatlantic Free Trade Agreement, Engl. Trans-Atlantic Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA) has been discussed at the economic journalistic level since the beginning of the 1990s. After President Obama announced the opening of concrete exploratory talks in his state-of-the-union speech in February 2013, the term "Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership" appears as the term for the agreement , From Engl.
